I was fortunate enough to meet some of the members of Circa Survive at SXSW when they looped through Flatstock. And I have to say, they are some genuinely nice, kind fellows, and they seemed to really dig the poster I made for them. So, naturally, I thought it best to try and instill a little mean streak in them; rockers shouldn't be so nice. I spit in their faces, threw furies of punches at them, and said less-than-kind things about their mothers. Well, that plan completely backfired on me, as somehow by the end of the exchange they had me planting a community garden and hosting a midnight basketball league for under privledged youth; they're THAT nice.
