WHEN DOES SUMMER VACATION START?
Thank you to everyone who made it out to Flatstock 26, at Union Park in Chicago. With the steallar lineup Pitchfork rolled out this year, it was really great to see so many people swing through Flatstock. It is always nice to escape for a few days, especially with all the fine people who made it such a fun time.
That said, it's back to work! And I've got a few new things up for you to check out -- new posters, art prints, and illustrations -- and more on the way! And, as always
thank you for wasting a few minutes of your day trolling around here, it is much-appreciated.
Upcoming and in the works: Posters for The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, and The Melvins. Also a couple of new art prints for Screens n' Spokes, Sprints & Prints, and more.

THANKS MISTER FRENCH!
A few days back, I had a couple of pieces featured in the French Paper Sample Room. It's a great blog with a lot of fine inspiration and examples of great work -- all printed on French Paper. Check it out!

IT'S NOT THE HEAT, IT'S THE HUMIDITY
Or something else thats super hot and oppressive and gross, I really don't know. In any case, it is disgustingly hot today, so what better way to beat the heat than by updatiing the Bungaloo? It's like an ice-cold popscicle of productivity. That made zero sense and sounded stupid. Anyways, lets get to it, I have put up a lot of new stuff; Posters, Art Prints, and Design work. So beat the heat, and please check it all out!
What's that? What else is coming up? Well, Mister/Madame Nosy, lets see:
Posters for Titus Andronicus, Liars, Wolf Parade, & The Hoyle Brothers. Oh, and Pitchfork Music Festival/Flatstock 26 are just around the corner -- July 17th - 19th! At some place in Chicago! More details to come! Potentially be there!

MORE STUFF IN A BOOK!
Just the other day I got my copy of Gestalten Press's new book, "VELO: Bicycle Culture and Design" and they featured a couple of my prints. Get on your fixed gear and go get a copy today!

THANK YOU VAHALLA & KC!
Thank you again to everyone who has made it out to Vahalla Studios this month. The opening on the 4th was a ton of fun, and thank you again for Dan, Tad, and Melissa for making the night such a good time.
For those who have poiltely asked, those deer heads will be for sale, after the show. I'll take some proper photos and all that good stuff.

COME SEE THE BUNGALOO IN KANSAS CITY!
My good friends Tad Carpenter and Dan Padavic at Vahalla Studios have invited me to come out and display some of my posters and prints at thier gallery on June 4th. It should be a blast, except that I know no one in Kansas City. So, if you live there, or know someone who does, please tell them to come by. They hopefully won't be completely dissapointed they did. But I'm not promising anything.
For more info, check with the fine folks at Vahalla Studios.

LOTS OF NEW STUFF UP, PLEASE GANDER
Oh Hai! It's been a little while. But it's good to see you again. I've been busy since your last visit, so get ready to waste some time here and look around, there's lots of new work to see.
In the new batch, I have listed posters for the Appleseed Cast, Circa Survive and more. Likewise, I have several new art prints up, as well as some new illustration and design work. I have been busy and also terrible at posting new work.
Also, Poster Cabaret has started carrying some of my prints, with more on the way. Poster Cabaret is a fantastic one stop shop for any poster and print collector, and I am thrilled to be included as a part of thier lineup. Please take a moment to check them out.
And, for a complete list of where Bungaloo prints can be found (because I'm sold out of some) please visit the my FAQ page.
And lastly, a big, enormous, wet, sloppy, Thank You to all who came out to Flatstock 24, in Austin, TX. It was really a fun time, and it's always so nice to have so many friendly people turn out to support the poster scene. To those who stopped by the Bungaloo booth, thank you for listening to me droll on with my non-sensical blabber for a few moments. We should do it again sometime.
In the works:
- A new poster for Phantogram
- Brand New Album Artwork for 30db
- Illustrations for Vibram Bikila Shoes
- Work featured in a New Bike Book from Gestalten Press
Upcoming shows:
Pedals and Prints -- Crewest Gallery; Los Angeles; April 3rd
Bungaloo Solo Exhibition (name of show TBD) -- Vahalla Studios, Kansas City; Early June

THE ARK HAS LANDED
Well hey there, look what finally came in the mail! I was fortunate to be asked to do an illustration for the Ark Project, by DGPH. You can see my illo full-size and sans-thumb in the illustration section.
As always, thanks for looking around, new posters and illos to be posted soon.

THEM THINGS CALLED "BOOKS"
Are you all familiar with this phenomenon? I think they're really gonna start to catch on. Anyways, I was fortunate enough to be included in a couple of recent publications, focused on illustration, and I strongly suggest you pick up copies for yourself; they really are a couople of beautiful books:
Illusive. Contemporary Illustration Part 3 & Hair 'em Scare 'em -- both released by the fine and lovely folks of Gestalten Press.
On the way, also, is The Ark Project: An Illustrated Bible From Artists Around the World. I have not yet recived the book, but have seen some fantastic previews, so I am very excited. You can see my contribution to the book, as well as a bunch of new Illustration pieces, if you bop on over to the Illustration page.
What Else, you say? You're not satisfied? Welp, I have a new T Shirt deisgn up that I did for the Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo Tees, for their screening of Where The Wild Things Are (sorry, not for sale through my site), I've got heaps of new art prints, and yes, of course, new posters up and for sale.
AND FOR YOU HOLIDAY SHOPPERS; I am putting together a couple of new art prints that will be available soon, a new T shirt design is on the way, as well as a small batch of mystery tubes filled with Bungaloo goodness. All of which will make most-excellent gifts for your friends, families, and closest enemies. Check back soon. I'll let you email-listers be the first to know they become available.
OMG! In case you missed it -- A little while back I did an interview with my freind, Mitch Putnam, of OMG! Posters. It was a bit fo a fun reflection, and I never got around to posting a link up here, unfortunately. Check it out if you haven't seen it already, and visit Mitch's blog on a daily basis; he is an incredibly fantastic ambassador for this small group of poster artists, illustrators, and fine artists alike, and a real-swell person to boot.

TASTE THE SMELL OF SUMMERTIME
So, it's been a little bit, but its good to see you again, you're looking well, rather fit and svelt. But you know what you're missing? Yep, some ripe-off-the-vine Bungaloo. So let's see what I've got for you this time:
New Posters (of course, yeah, I know (but, for real, The Detroit Cobras, Big Business, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Beans 'N' Screens, and Mogwai)).
New Monoprints (16 of 'em (some variants of the posters mentioned above))
New Art Print (House No. 20)
New T Shirt (Golden Summer Beard version of Viking Tee (asphalt ones are pretty much gone)
And some updates to the Design and Illustration sections
You like books? Yeah? Good stuff, right? Welp, I've got work in 2 coming out soon(ish):
The Ark Project: An illustrated animal bible by artists from all over the world, The Ark Project is being made to raise awareness of endangered species around the globe. Created by DGPH and published by IdN, it will be released in September this year (August, in Argentina (sounds like a hot new band name, no?)) Hardcover, 240 illustrated pages. I was asked to save the wood turtle, nature's most-feared and masculine creature (infinitely appropriate, I know).
Illusive 3: I'm also fortunate to have some work in a new book about contemporary illustration, Illusive 3, put together by the fine folks at Gestalten. I know little details for now, it should be out sometime in the fall, but I'll let you know more when I do.
Well, that's enough horn-tooting for one day. But, if you must ask, I've got projects in progress for Yonder Mountain String Band, Alina Simone, DJ Brett Randle, and So Many Dynamos. And some new art prints. And some new shirts (for the summertime, so, yes, I'll get those wrapped up soon). And some more scarves. And if that's not enough, I dunno what to tell you. Go run around the block or something. Maintain that nice trim summer look we were just talking about.

FLATSTOCK 20: AUSTIN
Well, I packed up the Bungaloo and headed down to Austin for Flatstock 20 and the SXSW Music Festival. It was a solid week of posters, music, BBQ, and sleeping on a half-deflated air matress, sandwiching my arm between my body and the wooden floor (but in all seriousness, thank you again, Tyler, Tori, and Wes). Likewise, thank you to all who attended Flatstock, I hope you found it to be a swell time, and especially thank you to those who made it by the Bungaloo booth. It was really nice to escape into the light of day for a bit and get to talk to all day about posters and drawing and printing and other such related geekery.
Buuuuuut, if you weren't there, you didn't yet see some new work; I've got new posters, art prints, shirts, illustrations, and scarves. Please take a moment to gander.

WEBSITE: PART DEUX
The website needed an overhaul. It was feeling stale, so, it was time for a fresh start. So, here's the new one, please take look around. Did you see the new plaid yet? It's right there! I know, right?! But, outside of that, there's still a lot of new stuff to check out. Like what? Well, I'm glad you asked:
New T Shirts (and a couple of re-prints)
New Scarves (and more on the way)
New Posters (lots)
Art Prints (decoractive posters, sans-words)
Monoprints (a whole slew of em)
Journals, Greeting Cards, some animations... shoot, I don't remember everything, its been a year since I added anything else, so, please, waste a few minutes and look around.
And, as always, if you have questions about the work, or any other inquiries, feel free to say hello, unless you're a foreign prince with an exciting new business opportunity -- in which case, please go away.
Oh, and the idea from here on out is to improve upon my pace of annual website updates.
But, if you really want to keep up on the cutting edge Bungaloo news, join the mailing list for very infrequent updates.
